"IBM Research" book

For six years, FLOWERS worked with IBM Research to document the people, places, and ideas behind its work. Across visits to its labs in Yorktown Heights, Zürich, and Almaden, the project grew into an ongoing record of research as it happened.

The photographs capture the researchers themselves, the spaces they work in, and the tools, experiments, and everyday moments that shape the process. Returning over several years gave the project a depth that would not have been possible in a single shoot.

The partnership ultimately became a book, bringing the full body of work together as a lasting document of IBM Research and the people behind it.
